DU soil science dept's 60th anniversary June 24, 25
The department of soil, water, and environment (past soil science department) of Dhaka University (DU) will celebrate its 60th anniversary on June 24 and 25.
DU Vice Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique would open the celebration on June 25, says a press release.
The present and former students of the department are requested to contact with the department office and get registered within June 20.
A friendly cricket match, a football match, and a concert will mark the first day while seminar, debate contest, commemoration, and cultural events will be held on June 25.
Prof Dr AHM Mostafizur Rahman of the department was made convener of the anniversary celebration committee.
