Prof Anwarul made CU VC
Prof Anwarul Azim Arif has been appointed the vice-chancellor (VC) of Chittagong University for next four years.
An education ministry circular announced his appointment yesterday.
His appointment order will remain effective until the university senate elects a VC from a three-member panel, said the circular.
Prof Anwarul, a teacher of management department of CU, will take charge from Dr Mohammad Alauddin, who was discharging duties as the acting VC.
