Two suspected Tahrir men held
Police arrested two suspected members of banned outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh and seized some posters and books on Jihad from their possession in the city's Mohammadpur yesterday.
The arrestees are Md Salauddin Khan alias Panna, 28, who completed his studies from Dhaka University, and Khaled Zubaer, 32, a private tutor.
Biplop Sarkar, assistant commissioner of Mohammadpur zone, said the two were putting up “anti-government” posters at Tajmahal Road around 3:30am.
A case was filed with Mohammadpur Police Station in this connection.
