PM meets president
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid a call on President Zillur Rahman at Bangabhaban yesterday evening.
During the meeting, the prime minister apprised the president of her recent visit to Turkey, Switzerland and France.
Welcoming Hasina at Bangabhaban, Zillur said Bangladesh`s relations with other countries of the world have improved more through her visits.
He lauded the role of Hasina and hoped that the country would be turned into a prosperous one by her dynamic leadership.
Later, chairman of the special parliamentary committee on the constitution amendment Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury handed over the report of the charter amendment to the president.
Secretaries concerned to the president and Prime Minister`s Office were present.
