Cultural org office set afire
Unknown miscreants set fire to a leading cultural organisation, Shilparath, in the district town of Manikganj yesterday.
Sources said Captain (retd) Abdul Halim Chowdhury Hall of Shilparath was set afire around 9:00am during heavy rain. Some musical instruments were damaged in it.
Shilparath president AFM Sultanul Azam Khan Apel alleged that a group of fundamentalists did do it to stop cultural practice.
