Int'l seminar on liberation war ends at RU
The two-day international seminar titled "Practice of liberation war history and achievement of Bangladesh" ended at Rajshahi University yesterday.
On the liberation war 26 papers out of 72 in all were presented on the concluding day at RU's Institute of Bangladesh Studies (IBS) gallery and conference room.
Academicians, researchers, and fellows from different universities at home and abroad and other personalities attended the seminar.
Speakers at the progra-mme stressed the importance of practicing and preserving the written documents on the liberation war history.
IBS organised the seminar as part of RU's year-long celebration of the 40th anniversary of the War of Liberation.
