Tk 148.50cr RU budget announced
The authorities of Rajshahi University (RU) announced a budget of Tk 148.50 crore for the fiscal 2011-12.
Treasurer Prof Dr M Abdur Rahman announced the budget on Thursday night at a syndicate meeting with Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr M Abdus Sobhan in the chair.
Prof Abdur Rahman said the university authorities proposed Tk 225 crore to the University Grants Commission (UGC) while UGC approved Tk 139 crore.
The university will have to manage Tk 9.50 crore from university's internal resources, he added.
