Road crashes kill 4, injure 4
Four people were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents in Chittagong and Thakurgaon yesterday.
Our staff correspondent from Chittagong reports: At least three people were killed and four injured when a CNG-run tempo rammed a bus stationed near Agrabad Radio office at Agrabad in the port city on Sunday night.
The deceased are Mohsin, 40, Md Abbas Miah, 38, and Md Saiful Islam, 27.
Locals rescued the injured passengers of the three-wheeler and took them to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared the trio dead.
Police seized both the vehicles.
Our Thakurgaon correspondent adds: A minor boy was killed as a motorbike hit the boy while he was crossing Panchagarh-Chakla road at Sardarpara village of Sadar upazila in Panchagarh yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Naim, 3, son of Latiful Islam of the same village.
