Prof Wahab passes away
Prof Dr Abdul Wahab, a teacher of Geography and Environment department of Rajshahi University (RU), passed away at Squire Hospital in the city on Monday at the age of 59, says a press release.
He left behind his wife, one son and one daughter.
His namaz-e-janaza was held at the university central mosque after Zohr prayers.
He was buried at the university graveyard.
RU Vice-chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan and Pro-vice chancellor Prof Muhammad Nurullah condoled his death.
Geography and Environment department will hold a condolence meeting at the department today.
