Gunfight: Nur on 2-day remand
A Dhaka court yesterday placed Nur Mohammad, an alleged criminal who was arrested after a gunfight with police at a check-post near Rajarbagh Police Lines on Monday night, on a two-day remand.
Motijheel police produced Nur before the court with a four-day remand prayer but the court granted two-day for quizzing.
Another arrestee, bullet-hit Tanvir Ahmed Sajib, was referred to National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (Nitor) yesterday.
