Obituary
Journalist and former student leader Matiur Rahman Bachchu passed away due to heart attack in Pabna on Thursday night. He was 66.
He fell sick while attending a function arranged to observe Nazrul birth anniversary at local Press Club. Doctors declared him dead around 8:30pm. He left behind his wife, two daughters. During 1960s ,he was a central leader of the then East Pakistan Students Union, and Rajshahi University Central Students Union.
