Shaheed Nizam's family receives his DU certificates
Dhaka University (DU) authorities yesterday handed over honours and masters' degree certificates of Shaheed Khaza Nizam Uddin Bhuiyan, Bir Uttam, to his family yesterday.
Vice-chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique handed over the certificates to Col (retd) Mostafa Kamal Uddin Bhuiyan, elder brother of Nizam Uddin, at his office on the campus.
Khaza Nizam Uddin obtained honours and masters' degrees from DU in 1969 and 1970 respectively. He embraced martyrdom while fighting for the country in Sylhet on September 4, 1971.
