One crushed under train
A youth died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital three hours after he sustained severe injuries under the wheels of a train near Sripur rail station in Gazipur early yesterday.
Deceased is Aminul Islam, 25, son of Jahir Uddin of Noagaon village under Joydevpur Police Station.
Sub-Inspector Jamal Majumder of Kamalapur GRP Police Station said Aminul was critically injured while he was crossing the rail track at about 12:00 midnight.
He succumbed to his injuries at DMCH around 3:00am.
