UPDF opposes constitution amendment bill
United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) rejected the bill of fifteenth amendment to the constitution yesterday.
They criticised the government move to keep Bismillah and Islam as state religion in the constitution.
Terming the bill controversial, the president of UPDF Prosit Khisha in a written statement said ethnic communities in the country will not accept the Bangalee nationality.
They said activities of Awami League are as same as BNP and Jamaat.
