3 bighas of rly land recovered
Estate department of Bangladesh Railway (East zone) yesterday in an eviction drive recovered three bighas of land in the port city from illegal occupiers.
Railway sources said a team led by executive magistrate Rashid Ahmed made the drive in Railway Hospital area where a group of illegal occupiers made tin-shed shanties on the railway's land.
The team evicted 50 shanties.
