Ctg BNP protests price hike of essentials
BNP Chittagong city unit at last could bring out a procession without any interruption of police at Kazir Dewri in the port city yesterday.
The procession paraded very short distance, around 400 meters, beginning from the BNP city unit office at Nasiman Bhaban and turned back from the Love Lane intersection and ended on the premises of its office.
The procession was held protesting the price hike of essentials, power and gas crises and stock market scam.
At the beginning of the programme, chasing and counter chasing were occurred among the BNP factions.
Ameer Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, president of BNP Chittagong city unit, spoke in brief before the procession.
