Tree plantation on July 23
A one-hour long tree plantation programme will be held on July 23 from Teknaf to Mirsarai, around 200 miles in coastal area, in Chittagong.
Bangladesh Paribesh Forum in association with Chattagram Anchalik Sangskriti Academy and Shrishti with the help of local government will arrange the tree plantation programme.
At a press conference held at Chittagong Press Club yesterday the organisers said around 2 lakh saplings will be planted from 11:00am to 12:00noon and around 7000 families in the coastal areas will take part in the programme.
