Vat on internet usage
This is quite contradictory for the government to have imposed a VAT of 15% on internet usage against its avowed stand for a 'Digital Bangladesh' vision. The AL led government is well known for its eagerness towards digitalization and ICT. Ironically, same rate of 15% VAT is imposed on Fast Food sales.
I request the PM and our Finance Minister to take steps to slash down the VAT on internet usage in line with their election manifesto and facilitate people to use internet with cheaper charges.
