Unidentified criminals attacked and injured a female BNP leader in front of her Dhanmondi residence in the city yesterday. The victim, Khaleda Yasmin, 42, a member of BNP central executive committee, was taken to LabAid Hospital. Yasmin claimed the attackers might have been law enforcers in plain clothes. Yasmin said four persons equipped with a firearm and three sticks got down from a white private car near his residence around 6:45am, and suddenly swooped on her and tried to drag her into the car.
