Nurmahal Begum
Nurmahal Begum, mother of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairman Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman, breathed her last due to old-age complications at LabAid Hospital in the city on July 30 at the age of 82, says a press release.
She left behind her five sons and two daughters to mourn her death.
NHRC expressed deep shock at her death.
