PM takes Iftar with FFs, orphans
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday hosted an Iftar party for orphans, destitute, war-wounded freedom fighters, employees of the Prime Minister's Office and her official residence on the first day of Ramadan.
A special munajta was offered before the Iftar, held at Gono Bhaban in the city, seeking divine blessings for the progress of the nation and salvation of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
Prime minister's son Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed, Defence Adviser Maj Gen Tarique Ahmed Siddique and Press Secretary to the PM Abul Kalam Azad were present.
