Shop staff electrocuted
An employee of a stationery shop, Najim Uddin, 16, was electrocuted at West Shewrapara in Mirpur of the city yesterday.
Police said the boy came contact with live electric wire when he went to dry up his clothes after bathing at the tin-shed house no 240, Wasa Road at West Shewrapara at noon.
Najim, son of Yusuf of Charkali village in Sadar upazila of Bhola, was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
