Suspending movement of trains

Heavy rains eroded gravel and soil from around 10 to 12 feet of the edge of this Dhaka-Mymensingh route rail track on Golaghat area near Kaoraid Rail Station at Sripur upazila of Gazipur yesterday, suspending movement of trains for around four and a half hours till 3:30pm. Later, sandbags were dumped and bamboo supports were erected on the spot to temporarily resume rail communication. Photo: Abu Bakar Siddique Akand
