Fire breaks out at garment factory
A fire broke out at a garment factory in the city's Shaymoli area last night.
The fire originated from an electric short-circuit at the factory LL Knitwear situated on the third floor of a five-storied building around 12:30am, said Officer-in-Charge Jakir Hossain Mollah of Adabor Police Station.
The fire was about to be put out completely by eight fire fighting units during filing of this report at 2:00am. There were no casualties as the factory was closed, he said.
