600 yaba tablets seized in Ctg: One arrested
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a drug peddlar and seized 600 pieces of yaba tablets at Masterhat Bazar under Karnaphuli Police Station on Friday night, says a press release.
The arrestee is Mohammad Sadek, 20, son of Ali Johar of Puran Palan Para under Teknaf upazila in Cox's Bazar.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-7 raided Masterhat Bazar under Shikabaha union around 11:55pm on Friday and arrested Sadek with 600 pieces of yaba tablets.
Sadek is involved in peddling yaba tablets for long, says Rab.
