Visually impaired youths urged to tap potentials

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairman Dr Mizanur Rahman yesterday urged the visually impaired youths to utilise their tremendous potentials and contribute to building a beautiful Bangladesh. He also urged the influential members of the society to come forward and work together to help the underprivileged people enhance their lives. Dr Mizanur was addressing a programme organised by the Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) at the city's Westin Hotel. The programme, aimed at raising awareness about the abilities and potentials of visually challenged people, was attended by visually impaired students from different schools, colleges, and universities, eminent personalities from diplomatic missions, philanthropists, and educationalists, says a press release.
