President hosts Iftar
President Zillur Rahman yesterday hosted an Iftar party in honour of the injured freedom fighters, family members of Bir Shreshthas, Alem-Olema, orphans, officials and employees of his office at Bangabhaban here.
Social Welfare Minister Enamul Huq Mostofa Shaheed and State Minister for Religious Affairs Advocate Shahjahan Mia also joined the Iftar party.
A good number of valiant freedom fighters, members of the Bir Shrershtha families, prominent Alems and Olemas, orphans from different children's homes and officials and employees of all level of Bangabhaban attended the Iftar.
The president exchanged greetings with the invitees and also enquired about their well-being.
