Labourer drowns in Padma
A farm labourer drowned in the river Padma near Pakuria village in Bagha upazila yesterday afternoon.
Locals said the laborer identified as Abdur Razzaque, 27, son of Bhezu Pramanik of Kaligram village of the same upazila, met the watery grave while swimming in the river after finishing his work around 3:00pm. Locals recovered the body.
