3 cops sued in Bogra
A case was filed against three policemen of Fulbari police outpost with Sadar Police Station yesterday on charge of snatching Tk 8,700 and a cell phone from a poultry trader in the town on Sunday night.
The policemen are officer-in-charge (OC) of Fulbari police outpost Sub-inspector Alamgir Hossain and Habildars Tipu Sultan and Jahangir Alam.
Jamal Uddin, the trader and plaintiff of the case, said Habildars Tupu Sultan and Jahangir Alam snatched Tk 8,700 and a cell phone from him in presence of duty officer SI Alamgir Hossain in Brindabanpara area of the town while he was returning home on Sunday night from his poultry farm.
