Seven truck lorries for Maldives

The government yesterday handed over seven truck lorries with three-ton capacity each to the Maldives as a gesture of friendly relation on the occasion of forthcoming Saarc summit in the Maldives. Bangladesh army made these truck lorries. Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni handed over the truck lorries to Mohammad Thahseen, charge d' affairs of the Maldives High Commission in Bangladesh, at Army Aviation Workshop in the city, says an ISPR press release. Security and Defence Adviser to the Prime Minister Major General (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, Chief of Army Staff General Md Abdul Mubeen and high civil and military officials were present.
