2 killed in road crashes
Two people were killed in road accidents in Rajbari and Chapainawabganj on Thursday night.
UNB adds: A newly elected union parishad chairman was killed in a road accident at Kalibari in Sadar upazila on Thursday night.
Police said when Habibur Rahman Hobi, chairman of Banibah, was going to the district town by a motorcycle, a three-wheeler 'Nosimon' hit him from behind, leaving him critically injured.
He died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 9:30pm.
Our Chapainawabganj Correspondent reports: A human-hauler driver was killed as a truck hit his vehicle on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway at Shoharatala in Shibganj upazila at 8:45pm on Thursday.
Police said Jahangir Alam, 19, son of Enamul Haque of Dhumihayatpur village in Sadar upazila, died instantly.
