Acting Huji boss on 5-day remand
The suspected chief of banned outfit Harkatul Jihad al Islami (Huji), Maulana Mohammad Yahiya, and his two associates were remanded for five days yesterday.
The court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Aij Uddin granted the remand upon a petition of 10 days' remand prayer in connection with a case filed under Anti-terrorism Act.
Rapid Action Battalion on Thursday arrested the militants from a bus at Bhairab in the district. Rab also seized some Jihadi books from their possession.
