Passenger's role in reducing accident

We know many factors are responsible for road accidents. Unskilled and whimsical driving, transport's unfitness and bad road conditions etc. might be the most prominent factors. However, as these problems solving agencies are beyond passenger's reach instantly but they are the most victim group of accidents, so they, the passengers onboard, should come forward for playing an important role in this regard. If you understand that the bus, you are onboard, is unfit or defective, you should immediately talk to other passengers about your apprehension and if their observations support you, you all in a body tell the driver to stop the bus for getting down from it without delay. Then do the needful as per the situation. If you observe that the driver drives the bus whimsically, recklessly and negligently or he has tendency to overtake other vehicles unnecessarily, you along with other passengers request the driver for stopping the bus. Then counsel the driver and if necessary warn him that you all will get down from the bus if he continues irresponsible driving. Never indulge the driver for driving speedily and argue with him while he is driving. Do everything politely avoiding any chaos.
