Qulkhwani
Qulkhwani of Monir-uddin Ahmed, a former principal of Bangladesh Cooperative College and retired joint register of Cooperatives Directorate, will be held at Narayanpur in Chandpur after Asr prayers today. He passed away at a hospital in the city on August 18 at the age of 82, says a press release. He left behind his wife, five daughters and one son to mourn his death. His namaz-e-janaza was held on Banani Central Mosque premises after Juma prayers on Friday. He will be buried at his family graveyard at Narayanpur in Chandpur today. Relatives and well-wishers are requested to attend the programme and pray for salvation of the departed soul.
