Export, import thru' Akhaura port resume
Export and import between Bangladesh and India through Akhaura land port resumed yesterday after two days of suspension due to strike on Indian side.
Agartala Workers' Association called the indefinite strike on Saturday demanding renovation of roads, removal of traffic jam and introduction of parking system at Agartala for smooth loading and unloading of goods.
The strike was called off following a tripartite meeting, sources said.
