Two killed in road crash
At least two people were killed and 30 others injured in a triangle road accident on the Dhaka-Khulna highway near Bhulbari village of Kashiani upazila yesterday.
The deceased are Ananda Biswash, 50, and Bipul Bagchi of the same upazila.
Locals said the accident took place around 11:00am when two Nasimon (locally assembled three-wheeler) loaded with branches of trees were contesting and at one stage the two collided head-on with a bus coming from opposite direction.
The injured were rushed to Gopalganj and Kashiani Upazila Health Complexs.
Police said they have sent the bodies to Gopalganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
