Schoolboy stabbed to death in city
A schoolboy who was stabbed by miscreants in the city's Gabtoli area on Friday night succumbed to his injuries at Chest Diseases Hospital at Mohakhali yesterday.
The dead Ahadul Islam Sajal, a student of Class-X of Shah Ali High School at Mirpur, was standing in front of his residence around 10.30pm on Friday.
Four to five of his friends called him to a nearby sand field where they stabbed him in his neck and chest. Sajal used to live at a flat at Gabtoli Khaleque Tower with his parents, police said.
Local people rushed him to Chest Diseases Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 7:00am yesterday.
