Oitijjhya book fair begins
A publishing house, Oitijjhya, launched an eight-day book fair across the country on September 16, says a press release.
The fair organised in 20 districts will continue till September 23. It will be open from 10:00am to 8:00pm everyday at the selected venues.
The districts include Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Tangail, Comilla, Brahmanbaria, Feni, Habiganj, Moulvibazar, Pabna, Bogra, Dinajpur, Lalmonirhat, Panchagarh, Shariatpur, Madaripur, and Barisal.
The fair features about 800 books of fiction as well as non-fiction published by Oitijjhya. Apart from the collected works of Rabindranath Tagore and Sharatchandra Chattopadhyay, the fair also features works by established and promising contemporary writers.
All the books will be offered at a 30 percent discount.
