Prof Syed Abdul Hye, a former treasurer and teacher of Jahangirnagar University (JU), passed away at hospital in the city on Friday due to cardiac arrest. He was a professor of Economics department at the university. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Sharif Enamul Kabir condoled his death.
