RCC begins celebration

A three-day programme celebrating the third anniversary of Rajshahi City Corporation's (RCC) present body began with the slogan “Three years of progresses”. Speaking at a rally on the occasion, Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton said RCC successfully implemented a number of projects worth nearly Tk 400 crore since coming into office in 2008. He hoped to spend even more of the fund allocation until their term ends. The mayor led a big procession of several hundred city people parading different city streets. The parade bore message against corruption and different development activities of RCC.
