Road crashes kill 1, injure 30
A rickshaw-puller was killed and 30 others were injured in separate road accidents in Manikganj and Chittagong on Monday night and yesterday.
Our Manikganj correspondent reports: At least 30 passengers were injured when a Barisal-bound bus plunged into a roadside ditch as the driver of the bus lost his control over the steering on the Dhaka-Aricha highway at Muljan of Sadar upazila yesterday.
Staff correspondent from Chittagong says: A rickshaw-puller was killed when a truck rammed his rickshaw at northern portion of Saha Amanat Bridge of Kanraphuli in the port city on Monday night.
The deceased is Md Safiullah, 35, son of Robiul Haque, of Companiganj of Noakhali.
