Six buses ransacked
Locals ransacked at least six buses after a schoolboy suffered injuries being hit by a bus in front of his school in the city's Pallabi area yesterday.
The injured, Mohammad Faisal, 12, a class five student of Kalshi Islamia High School, was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
His father Fazal Haq said, when Faisal went outside the school compound during tiffin hour around 2:30pm to buy food from an adjacent store, a bus of ETC Paribahan hit him from behind.
Protesting the incident, locals took on the street staging demonstrations till filing of this report around 8:00pm.
