Two die in workplace accidents in city
A construction worker died after falling from a twelve-storey building while another worker was electrocuted in separate incidents in the city yesterday.
The construction worker Rakib Hossain, 25, was killed as he slipped from the rooftop of the under construction building at Motijheel Bank Colony and fell down on the ground while he was carrying water from the ground floor around 9:30am.
Another worker of a parts assembling factory was electrocuted while he was working in the factory at Section-1 of Mirpur.
The worker is identified as Abdus Sobhan, 20.
