CPC book festival kicks off
A two-day book festival began yesterday at Chittagong Press Club (CPC) with 200 books written by 50 journalists.
This is the first festival of its kind organised by the CPC. Abu Sufian, president of the press club, formally inaugurated the event by releasing balloons at 10:00am.
CPC general secretary Rashed Rauf and Chittagong Union of Journalists secretary Nazimuddin Shyamal spoke, among others, at the inaugural ceremony.
