President seeks UK's help in education

President Zillur Rahman yesterday sought extensive British assistance for extending more education and social development activities in all districts in the country. “Provide further assistances targeting the whole country, not for any particular part or areas,” he said while visiting British parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of British Conservative Party and Minister Baroness Sayeeda Warsi paid a call on him at Bangabhaban in the city. Warsi was accompanied by five British members of parliament - Tobias Ellwood, Nickey Morgan, Anna Main, Andrew Stephenson and Eric Ollarenshaw and one member of European Parliament Syed Kamall.
