Iftekharuzzaman appointed TI group director
Dr Iftekharuzzaman, executive director of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), has been appointed the group director for Institutional Development of the Berlin-based anti-corruption civil organisation, Transparency International, says a press release. The appointment will be effective from January 1, 2012. The Board of Trustees of TIB welcomed Dr Iftekharuzzaman, terming the appointment as an opportunity for him to apply his expertise and experience to strengthen the anti-corruption movement at global level.
