Gas in Rajshahi likely from Nov 24
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to inaugurate a pipeline-based gas transmission to Rajshahi city on November 24, said Rajshahi Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton.
The supplied gas, however, would be initially used for domestic purposes and six compressed natural gas (CNG) stations, he said.
The mayor was answering queries at an open session participated by civil society members and city dwellers in Rajshahi City Corporation's (RCC) Green Plaza in the city on Wednesday evening.
The session marked the closing day of a three-day celebration of RCC's present council's third anniversary.
