Two held for threatening journo
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two men for threatening to a journalist from Port Road area in the city yesterday.
The arrestees are Nazrul Islam, 37, and Samir Saha, 45,
Rab sources said the two threatened Liton Basar, bureau chief of the Dainik Ittefaq, to kill him over mobile phone.
They confessed their crime, the sources added.
Meanwhile, in another raid, Rab arrested two men with one pistol and three bullets from Maria Residential Hotel at Kashipur in the city yesterday.
The arrestees are Bachchu Kha, 45, and Abdus Salam Munshi, 40.
They were wanted by police for different criminal activities, Rab sources said.
