Paramour stabbed dead
A man died after being stabbed allegedly by the husband of a woman he had a relationship with at Farida Para under Chandgaon Police Station in Chittagong city yesterday.
The deceased is Mamunur Rashid, 30, of Dhum Para at Kathgar area in the city.
The woman Kohinoor said Mamunur, whom she had a relationship with, came to her house at Farid Para around 12:40pm when her husband Saiful Islam stabbed him.
She rushed him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared him dead around 1:00pm.
Police are investigating how Mamunur was killed and a case was underway, said Officer-in-Charge Syed Abdur Rauf of Chandgaon Police Station.
