Bangladesh Chhatra League at Dhaka University beat up two alleged Shibir activists and forced them out of Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall in the wee hours of Monday. The alleged Shibir activists are Imran Hossain, a master's student of the Department of Library Science, and Rafiqul Islam Rony, a third year student of the Department of Anthropology. Both of them were residing in Room-4007. The hall unit BCL general secretary Shamsul Kabir Rahat told reporters that they ejected them out of hall as they "recovered some Jehadi books from the two students". Provost Abu Muhammad Delwar Hossain said BCL leaders are not authorised to send students out of hall. "We will take legal actions against the people involved".
